so..

so, i started a new blog. i think this is my, say, 7th or 8th attempt? i know, i’m a quitter..but not this time. this time i’ll stand firm and quit being a quitter and allow this blog to live longer than its brothers!

so, i am heading down to subang taylor’s next next week.  am i excited? yeah, i’m actually quite. it’ll be a whole new world for me and i have a feeling (which hopefully is right) i’ll enjoy my year there. ICPU is what i am destined to do and that stands for International Canadian Pre-U for those who do not know. apparently it does not stress upon academics only but also participation in class etc etc etc you know the rest. something like 70% … and only 30% will be based on our exams. good good. the world is smiling at me for once.

so i’m going to give a shot at volunteering during olympics next year (where are the smiley buttons?! they don’t have it in wordpress??!! )  =) =) =) =) i tried submitting my application online the other day, only to find out i am TOO YOUNG. pathetic. aku beria-ia nak pergi, mereka tak bagi pulak. i must be 17 as of june 07 but my b’day’s in DECEMBER!!! urgh. parents-to-be, don’t have sex in march or your children will go through the consequences.. like me now. so now i have to apply RIGHT after my b’day in december and while waiting for the sacred month to come, i’m polishing my chinese.

so, i am quite a banana. so what? i’m putting in blood and sweat to brush them up now (not banana, i mean my mandarin). i am not too bad in mandarin conversations unless they ask me things like ’so, how do you think you can help out during the games and why do you think we should choose you as a volunteer etc etc?’  and expect me to answer in mandarin (of course they do) , i’ll probably go bonkers. hmmm…maybe i should sign up as a foreigner (as in non-chinese) and choose english as my 1st lingo. hmmm….

but anyhow, i still have time. 我有的是青春。哈哈，我的华语还 OK 啦。写得也不错。哈哈哈哈哈。
